White or lilac-coloured flowers, 5 to 6mm across. The lower lip is purplish-yellow.
Fruit:
The fruit is a capsule. Many-seeded.
Leaves:
An annual flower that is densely hairy. It has small, oval leaves in opposite pairs. It can be found growing on short turf by the sea.
